Job Details:

A prestigious and well-established catholic elementary school in Keelung is looking for two foreign certified teachers. Keelung, located 30 minutes of bus/train ride from the Capital city, Taipei, is a seaport city close to ocean. This school has over 15 foreign ESL teachers. The qualification of an applicant must have to hold a valid teaching license granted by their education board. The monthly salary is from NT$60,000 to 65,000 with provided accommodation. The work time is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mondays to Fridays. The teaching hours will be around 3-5 hours a day. Summer and winter are a reserved un-paid vacation. We will assist the teachers to find part-time teaching positions during vacation time. Ten days of vacation pay will be grated as a complete contract bonus. We also welcome applicants from overseas. A hiring decision can be made through a phone interview and a work permit can be applied right after the hiring is firmed while the teacher is in overseas.

Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree (or an associates degree with a TEFL / TESOL Certificate), fluency in English, and citizenship from an English speaking country.

2) The requirements listed above are for private English institutes. Applicants wishing to teach in public schools or universities are subject to the following requirements:
=>Those who wish to work in public/government run educational institutions must have a valid teaching license or hold an education major.
=>Those who wish to teach in colleges/universities must have a Master’s degree or higher in a related field of study in order to be granted a position as a lecturer or a professor.

3) Applicants must hold a passport from The USA, Canada, The United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
