Job Details:

Our school provides almost the best salary and work benefits within public school system in Taiwan. You can enjoy an income tax free and have your airfare reimbursed! Kaohsiung, the second biggest city in Taiwan, has fantastic river/harbor view and modern city life. The newly operated MRT and HRS (High Speed Rail) train system provide the best ways of daily commute no matter within Kaohsiung Metropolitan area or from/to the Capital, Taipei. The nearby world renowned tourist spot, Kenting is a famous relaxing Ocean resort for holidays and for many outdoor activities such as surfing, boating…etc.
The salary starts from $60,890, rated according to a teacher’s educational background (holding Master's will add additionally NT$7,000). Salary is also scaled at an increment of NT$1,200 to NT$1,800 per year of teaching experience at regular schools no matter in Taiwan or overseas. Work day is from Mondays to Fridays. After fulfilling 11 months of contract, teachers will receive up to one-month salary of performance bonus. Up to NT$40,000 airfare amount is sponsored.
The teachers have to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for these positions.
1. From five native speaking countries: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
2. BA+ degree
3. Hold a valid teaching license

Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree (or an associates degree with a TEFL / TESOL Certificate), fluency in English, and citizenship from an English speaking country.

2) The requirements listed above are for private English institutes. Applicants wishing to teach in public schools or universities are subject to the following requirements:
=>Those who wish to work in public/government run educational institutions must have a valid teaching license or hold an education major.
=>Those who wish to teach in colleges/universities must have a Master’s degree or higher in a related field of study in order to be granted a position as a lecturer or a professor.
